So, it's been forever since I've done a 'things I like' type post. I totally suck at any sort of regular weekly posting but I do love seeing other peoples' blog posts that show the things they are into so I thought I'd give it a try. Of course these things are really things I like, no one reads this blog, much less sponsors it (ha!) but I figured I'd throw that out there just in case a random person wandered by and thought that I was being asked to 'like' something...nope.
Five Things I like right now:
1. Bags by Freitag. I've had one of their backpacks for about 10 years and it's still in great shape. I love how they've grown from messenger bags/backpacks to include handbags and wallets. I wish we had a store here in Virginia that carried them because each bag is unique and I could spend all day looking at the different designs.
2. Kid Made Modern printed tape from Target. I bought this tape last week and I'm so happy I did. It is paper tape that is opaque and super sticky and strong. I thought it was a great deal, too--6.99 for 9 rolls. There's a ton of other cute stuff in the KMM section so check it out if you happen to be at Target. Sadly, this is not available online. (Full disclosure: I bought the solids, too.)
3. These labels from Mary Ann Moss. Mary Ann is my favorite art journaler/blogger/teacher so when I saw she had this label set for sale I was so happy. They are super cute and she has the downloadable file set up so that you can even add your own text before printing. I printed out a page of blue ones and had them on my desk when Hunter saw them and decided he would draw me some labels as well:
Angry Birds themed, of course. I sure do love that kiddo.

4. These shirts from GAP. I swear, I love me some stripes. These T's are so soft and comfy and the cotton is kind of chunky feeling (a lot like hemp)--I actually bought both colors because, you know, when you find something that (a.) fits and (b.) is on sale, you kind of have to go for it.

5. These guys. Probably one of my top five favorite bands ever...and that's saying a lot. They played here last month and I could just cry that I didn't go...next time, no excuses. I love their story telling, their sound, the brotherly harmonizing...it's the kind of music that defines a time period in your life. Check them out if you haven't already.
I'd love to hear about things you like right now, so if you've got a list please leave me a link! :)
xoxo
